Every day we tell ourselves that we support our children to be able to do anything they put their minds to.
As a special needs parent sometimes those seem like lofty goals.  Supportive hard work and dedication are proving that anything is possible!

Model With Down Syndrome Launches Fashion Line
Australian model Madeline Stuart introduced her new label “21 Reasons Why by Madeline Stuart” this week.

The collection, which reflects Stuart’s own style, is described as “contemporary, edgy … perfect for day wear and yet trendy and versatile for an evening out on the town.”

Runner hopes to be the first woman with Down syndrome to finish Austin Marathon

This weekend the Austin Marathon will test the strength and endurance of thousands of athletes. One of those runners is 26-year-old Kayleigh Williamson, who hopes to set a record of her own for the city.

She has Down syndrome and was inspired to run long distances because of her mother. Williamson trains at RunLab Austin, working with specialists on her stability and technique.
