Have you heard about   Bitty & Beau’s Coffee?  Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee – it’s an experience. While the shop is run by people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the customers love the products, they really come in for the unique customer service experience.and they are looking to open a new shop in a small town!  We would love to see it come to Beckley all you have to do is  Email at info@bittyandbeauscoffee.com and tell us why you think we should open a Bitty & Beau’s Coffee in your city.
This April, they will announce where the next Bitty & Beau’s Coffee will open. PLEASE EMAIL  Like them on Facebook and let them know we would LOVE to have them in our area!

Down Syndrome Families Conference  4/1
Our sister organization, The Down Syndrome Network of West Virginia will be hosting their Spring Conference on Saturday, April 1 from 8:00-3:00 at Little Creek Park/Country Club in South Charleston. Speakers include Sean and Sandra McElwee from “Born This Way” and information on estate planning and trusts. General Admission is $5 and includes breakfast, lunch and children’s activities and quiet rooms. $30 General Admission includes two autographed books from author Sandra McElwee, breakfast, lunch and children’s activities.

The Council for Exceptional Children Concord Chapter formally invites you to celebrate in our Spring Fling. We have planned many fun activities for children of all ages. We hope that you will join us in a fun-filled day with the key goal to celebrate the differences in us all.

This year the volleyball tournament will be held at Memorial Baptist Church on April 22nd starting at 9 am.

Team registration is 8:00 am, all members of your team must be present to enter the doors.

The National Down Syndrome Society would like to inform you of an exciting scholarship opportunity for students with Down syndrome. The application for the O’Neill Tabani Enrichment Fund is now available!

The mission of the O’Neill Tabani Enrichment Fund is to offer financial assistance to young adults with Down syndrome – 18 and older – who are continuing to enrich their lives by taking classes or enrolling in postsecondary educational programs.
